All!! Don’t miss out on this FREE Lasso event!!!
We have a
fun filled Lasso Alumni Meeting and Social event
coming up on May 4th at 2 PM at 1510 Mulberry
(near Fredericksburg Rd). Please save the date!!

There will
be a Lasso ALUMNI roping contest with the
current Lassos as Judges!! All those that enter
will need to perform (or attempt) 3 tricks.
Trophies will be given!!! Bring a favorite
memory or picture to share with the Lassos as we
help to instill some additional traditions!!
Everyone is invited to come!!
Stop
the Presses!!!
We will
also have an EXPRESS NEWS reporter in
attendance!!! Wear your red and blue!!! and
REALLY practice your roping!!!! We have invited
the current, past and future Principals of
Thomas Jefferson to attend as well.
I would like to extend a very special invitation
to ALL Lassos and Jefferson High School Alumni
to come and see what we’re all about!
Refreshments will be served. Pass the word to
anyone you know that went to Jefferson or is a
Jefferson High School supporter!! More details

Mustang fans,
Stand Up and Clap Your Hands…
Thomas Jefferson High School is
as majestic and lovely as it was in the 1930’s.
Unfortunately, some things have changed. The
financial burden of becoming a Lasso practically
destroyed the organization.
The Lasso Alumni Association has
formed to help keep the Lasso traditions alive
and well. Keeping the Lassos in their
traditional uniform proved to be an
accomplishable goal. The association raised
money in 2007 and purchased this year’s
uniforms. We can all be proud when we see the
Lassos march in parades or perform at the rodeo.
The Lasso Organization now owns
the uniforms and will keep them in storage for
next year’s Lassos. The Alumni Association hopes
to purchase new uniforms and boots as needed.
The Lasso Alumni Association
membership drive is our main fundraiser. Please
become a member and if possible make an extra
donation. Help your Lassos and in doing so you
will be helping your old school and your old
neighborhood.
